Voltaic Industries has commissioned a new low-voltage switchgear production line at its expanded facility in Ikeja, Lagos — doubling manufacturing capacity to meet accelerating demand from telecom, industrial and utility clients across West Africa.
Built to international standard, in Nigeria
The new line assembles and factory-tests SIVACON-class switchgear to IEC 61439, rated up to 7000 A. Every assembly undergoes factory-witness testing before dispatch, with clients invited to observe their equipment being verified against contracted specifications.
“Local manufacturing changes the economics of dependable power in Nigeria,” said Ibrahim Sani, Head of Manufacturing. “Shorter lead times, spares held locally, and engineering support in the same time zone as our clients — that is what keeps critical sites running.”
What it means for clients
The additional capacity cuts typical delivery lead times by several weeks and adds more than forty skilled manufacturing roles at the Ikeja plant. Order slots for the new line are open now, with first deliveries scheduled for the coming quarter.
